Description:
Job Summary:

Provides administrative and systems support for new and existing provider, on-call physician, and supplier contracts. Implements and maintains contracts, files, database, life cycle, status and other information on shared servers. Maintains positive relationships with providers, physicians, suppliers and business owners and addresses concerns and changes necessary. Maintain and support a culture of compliance, ethics and integrity.

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Contract Coordination - Prepare and execute template based agreements with providers, on-call physicians, and suppliers.

  • Assist MHS business owners with the procurement of goods and services.

  • Contract Implementation - Works with KP legal and parties to execute agreements.

  • Prepares, Organizes and Maintains contracts, logs, reports, etc in paper and electronic form.

  • Assists Sr. Contract Manager with contracting related duties as needed.

  • Maintains positive relationships with providers, physicians, suppliers and business owners.

  • Provides support to business owners as needed.

  • BA or BS degree with emphasis in health care administration, business or related discipline, or four (4) years of experience in a directly related field required.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

  • Ability to collect and analyze cost/utilization data, utilizing analytical/quantitative skills.
  • Ability to work with a variety of internal and external personnel at various levels of responsibility, utilizing interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills with tact and diplomacy in interpersonal relations.
  • Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Technical or Administrative work experience with demonstrated ability to work independently and responsibly.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and complete delegated tasks.
  • Ability to handle high volume workload with attention to detail.
