Description:
Job Summary:

Deliver various materials such as charts, mail and laboratory specimens to outlying clinics and intercommunity locations, renew postage and take the automobile in for prescribed service.

Essential Responsibilities:


  1. Picks up and deliver material/s and maintains automobile.

  2. Delivers to outlying clinics and intercommunity locations a variety of material such as mail, linens and lab specimens on a prearranged or on emergency basis. Also picks up material from the post office.

  3. Takes postage meter to post office for renewal.

  4. Takes automobile in to designated service station for periodic maintenance, adds, gasoline, water and oil as necessary.

  5. Performs other duties as required such as sort mail, submit mileage reading to supervisor, and picks up bags of money from Peds and Allergy Department to deliver to Business Office. Picks up dry ice from Carnation and takes records to count.

  6. Promotes, ensures and improves customer service to internal/external customers by demonstrating skills which are consistent with the organizations philosophy of providing extraordinary customer relations and quality service.




  • 7. Consistently supports compliance and the principles of Responsibility (Kaiser Permanentes Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements (if applicable), and Kaiser Permanentes policies and procedures.
Basic Qualifications:

Experience


  • Current valid California Drivers License (Class 3).



  • Must attach a current CQA driver record information sheet, obtained within the last month.



  • During the two year period immediately preceding the data of application, must have a driving record which is free of incidents involving the applicants negligence.



  • Also free of citations with forfeit for bail for driving while under the influence of drugs or reckless driving.



  • Driving record must not reflect more than two moving violations during the same two-year period.



  • License and driving record will be verified.
