Description:
Supports data processes and maintenance by assisting with data organization using broad guidelines and entering of data and reviewing accuracy of information as assigned. Contributes to data abstraction by capturing standard administrative and clinical data elements, such as patient data, based on procedures provided. Performs data processing to include performing adjustments for specific data with minimal guidance and conducting routine data uploads with a limited degree of supervision. Supports completion of data reports by supporting the team in the development or use of data and metrics for internal and external reports with minimal guidance.
Job Summary:

Performs data processing to include performing adjustments for specific data with minimal guidance and conducting routine data uploads with a limited degree of supervision. Supports completion of data reports by supporting the team in the development or use of data and metrics for internal and external reports with minimal guidance.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Pursues effective peer relationships within and across teams to obtain and share resources and information. - Follows instructions to complete routine and non-routine work assignments with limited supervision. Collaborates with others to recommend appropriate solutions for routine and non-routine issues; escalates complex issues; communicates progress and information. Supports the completion of priorities, deadlines, and expectations. Identifies and speaks up for ways to address improvement opportunities within ones team.
- Supports overall data process and maintenance by: assisting with data organization using broad guidelines and entering of data; reviewing accuracy of information as assigned while using broad guidelines and some judgement to inform accuracy; and responding to standard requests for data with limited direction within the team.
- Contributes to data abstraction by: capturing standard administrative and clinical data elements, such as patient data based on procedures provided; reviewing standard medical records to identify the data required for secondary use; updating content based on regulatory requirements as directed (e.g., metric changes); contributing to information from electronic health records based on minimal guidance with broad guidelines and uploading for use and reduction of abstraction needs; and transferring data as needed for typical or routine data transfers in collaboration with the team.
- Supports or leverages data processing by: conducting routine data uploads with a limited degree of supervision; maintaining records of verified adjustments for specified data with a limited degree of supervision; and reconciling common discrepancies in data and escalating issues to a supervisor/manager as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in health care data analysis, relational database management, business process improvement, training delivery, clinical research or a directly related field.
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent AND Minimum two (2) years of experience working in a corporate or business office environment OR Minimum three (3) years of experience working in a corporate or business office environment.

- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Medical Terminology; Health Records; Operations Management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Information Systems, Human Resources, Operations Research, Public health Administration, or directly related field AND minimum one (1) year of experience in a corporate or business office environment or a directly related field.
- Registered Health Information Credentials, Technician.

Pay Range: $47600 - $61600 / hour
