Job Summary:
Under supervision assists in the provision of information, maintenance of databases, report production and routine data analysis. Work is reviewed for completeness, accuracy and soundness.
Department Description:
The department oversees the following aspects of operations at the medical center: Access management for Primary and Specialty Care departments, Primary Care panel management, New Member Onboarding Program, Equity Inclusion and Diversity, Care Experience, Clinician Patient Communication skills training, staff and manager communication skills training, service recovery, and other elements of the patient's care experience.
Project Description:
New Member Welcome and Onboarding and/or Equity, Inclusion and Diversity program enhancements. This position will focus on enhancing the member experience to ensure their care exceeds their expectations, is seamless and comprehensive. The work completed during the internship will align with our medical center's Service Vision: We are passionate about making everyone feel heard and expertly cared for. Regular presentations to various audiences, including senior leaders and physicians, will be required.
Desired Majors:
Business Administration, Public Health, Marketing, Public Relations and Communications, Healthcare Administration.
Desired Skillsets:
Experience working with Microsoft programs. Customer service experience and working with reports, data analysis and report writing preferred.
Spanish speaking - Bilingual preferred.
Essential Responsibilities:
Examples of project support include: Collects, prepares and tracks reports and summaries such as: budget to actual expenditures, production statistics, and utilization of services and statistical records of performance. Performs a variety of data collection and analysis assignments. Prepares ad hoc data requests as directed. Prepares and/or formats graphs, spreadsheets and reports by utilizing office software. May be asked to maintain databases on a regular basis by entering data and preparing data extracts. May extract information from different sources to compile data. Executes existing queries for established reports. Schedules conference calls and meetings. Contributes to the development of presentations materials. Provides administrative and project support as assigned such as copying, filing, entering and extracting data. Engages in and supports project work. - Knowledge of Access and database experience desirable.
- Prior office experience also desirable.

Pay Range: $21.58 - $27.92 / hour

Flexible: Work location is on-site at a KP location, with the flexibility to work from home.
