This individual contributor is primarily responsible for monitoring and managing enterprise systems, assisting in the implementation of hardware and software changes, and communicating relevant system performance and procedural information.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Completes work assignments by following procedures and policies, and using data and resources; collaborating with others to address business problems; adhering to established priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicating progress and information; occasionally identifying and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and escalating issues or risks as appropriate.

- Meets timelines to drive the delivery of appropriate, sustainable, and prompt solutions.
- Provides first level support for own system by troubleshooting and resolving incidents to minimize system issues.
- Escalates identified issues, risks or problems to lead administrators according to processes.
- Supports technical and project team members to help resolve application-specific issues.
- Supports user accounts, network or system rights, and access to systems and equipment by following policies.
- Follows security procedures and tools.
- Assists in communicating with product users and suppliers to share information, identify opportunities, resolve problems, prioritize customer requirements, and maintain continuous improvement through customer feedback.
- Supports the evaluation of new application packages and identification of anticipated systems requirements for planning purposes.
- Follows system administration standard operating procedures.
- Adheres to change management processes.
- Performs maintenance and refresh activities.
- Supports the routine maintenance, modification, and documentation of applications, under the guidance of others.
- Supports the installation, upgrade, or decommissioning of designated systems, products, and infrastructure under the guidance of senior team members.
- Performs system configuration.
- Assists in the implementation of hardware and software changes into production environments.
- Monitors stability, availability, and performance of enterprise systems (e.g., systems, applications, network, databases, storage, security) by monitoring systems to identify issues.
- Supports transition plans for system.
- Assists in the development of guidelines to prevent and/or resolve recurring problems.
- Assists with data extraction from various databases for report generation.
- Participates in the development of training materials for end users on system.
- Supports system administration, including system security, software update management, and data dictionary maintenance.
- Supports documentation of new and existing system configuration, under the supervision of senior team members.
- Supports vendor support activities, as appropriate.
- Supports application-oriented administration and technical support for production and non-production environments, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Collaborates with engineers on system designs to standardize, develop advanced features, and improve the efficiency of enterprise systems, under the guidance of others.
- Supports engineers with the testing of designated systems and tools.
- Provides input into the development of requirements, selection of vendors, and installation of systems.
- Supports the change impact analysis of technology, system, processes, and tools.
- Supports the improvement of system usefulness to the local user by increasing the number of functions that can be automated, as well as seeking process and improvements that reduce human interaction with the system.
- Assists with dissemination of reports for end users to assist in incident management, forecasting, and solution development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, Education, Business, Health Care or related field OR Minimum one (1) year IT experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year system administration experience.
- Radiology experience.
- PACS experience.
Part-Time 2-week set schedule position with rotational weekends.

Pay Range: $33.46 - $43.25 / hour
