Description:
Job Summary:

Resolves problems for local quality control of timekeeping systems (e.g., KP TIME System) by reviewing pay period adjustments for accuracy and following general directions for entering data in the TIME system from the paper TIME forms to finalize time cards for manager approval. Analyzes various issues or data to resolve routine and non-routine issues of smaller scope by following general directions received for printing attendance calendars and analyzing reports for employees that are part of the Centralized Timekeeping Department. Ensures quality assurance for daily operations by communicating newly established business processes to clients based on general directions and providing analytical research and program development for the system with minimal supervision. Ensures that clients have current and accurate documentation (e.g., KRONOS timekeeping and payroll related materials) by following general instructions. Conducts audit processes while working with National Timekeeping Compliance/Regional Reports/No-Pay Schedule (NPS) by following general directions for performing system and timecard audits for client areas. Resolves escalated customer inquiries with first call solutions by following general instructions while applying human resources (HR) knowledge, contract knowledge, judgment, and initiative while supporting the liaisons for National Payroll Services and KRONOS support teams regarding customer issues.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Pursues effective peer relationships within and across teams to obtain and share resources and information.   • Follows instructions to complete routine and non-routine work assignments with limited supervision. Collaborates with others to recommend appropriate solutions for routine and non-routine issues; escalates complex issues; communicates progress and information. Supports the completion of priorities, deadlines, and expectations. Identifies and speaks up for ways to address improvement opportunities within ones team.
  • Resolves problems for local quality control of timekeeping systems (e.g., KP TIME System) by: reviewing pay period adjustments for accuracy; following general directions received to enter data in the TIME system from the paper TIME forms submitted and approving the final time card for submission; collaborating with work team and cross-team peers to address timekeeping irregularities with minimal supervision; and leveraging a working knowledge of relevant business practices to support the liaison for internal sources regarding Family Medical Leave Act/Leave of Absence (FMLA/LOA) timecard coding and pay discrepancies as needed.
  • Analyzes various issues or data to resolve routine and non-routine issues of smaller scope by: following general directions received to review routine and non-routine of factors; printing attendance calendars and analyzing reports for employees that are part of the Centralized Timekeeping Department; and identifying trends with minimal day-to-day supervision.
  • Ensures quality assurance for daily operations by: communicating newly established business processes to clients based on general directions; providing analytical research and program development for the system with minimal day-to-day supervision; reviewing routine and non-routine internal system controls; and identifying the most appropriate action or procedure from a number of clear alternatives to comply with National Timekeeping and any contract agreements, pay practice standards, and union agreements as established by Labor Relations.
  • Ensures that clients have current and accurate documentation (e.g., KRONOS timekeeping and payroll related materials) by: following instructions.
  • Conducts audit processes while working with National Timekeeping Compliance/Regional Reports/No-Pay Schedule (NPS) by: following general instructions received; following instructions to perform periodic system and timecard audits for client areas; and reconciling routine and non-routine KRONOS and payroll audits.
  • Resolves escalated customer inquiries with first call solutions by: following instructions while applying human resources (HR) knowledge, contract knowledge, judgment, and initiative; supporting the liaison for National Payroll Services and KRONOS support teams regarding customer issues and ensuring that service standards are met with minimal supervision; and providing ongoing education and information to customers and HR services as needed based on general instructions received.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent AND Minimum two (2) years of experience working in a corporate or business office environment OR Minimum three (3) years experience working in a corporate or business office environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
