Job Summary:

Drives company vehicle to perform pick-up and delivery services for all facilities.



Essential Responsibilities:


  • Drives company vehicle to designated company facilities according to daily assignments to pick up and deliver e.g., medical records, inter-office mail, U.S. mail, pharmaceutical materials, standard stock, non-stock, office supplies, lab coolers, IPC totes, optical totes and other materials to ensure timely delivery and pick-up; loads and unloads material at specified locations; ensures that the vehicle is locked and secure when unattended; maintain schedule logs and delivery documentation; and obtains and verifies appropriate and legible signature on shipping log or distribution slip.

  • Other duties as assigned to include but not limited to the following are.

  • Drives vehicle to make in-town pick-ups and deliveries as requested by Dispatcher.

  • Performs and documents standard service requirements on company vehicle; fills gas tank, checks oil, transmission and brake fluid levels, checks air in tires and keeps vehicle clean inside and outside. Notifies supervisor of required maintenance and repairs. Changes flat tires, as needed.

  • Performs duties of Mail Clerk as required.

  • Works in all inclement weather conditions.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience

  • Minimum one (1) year of previous work experience is required, must be able to lift and carry materials that weigh up to 50 lbs. or more throughout the workday.
  • Per the National Agreement, current KP Coalition employees have this experience requirement waived.
Education

  • High School Diploma OR General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
  • Driver's License (Colorado)
Additional Requirements:

  • No moving traffic violations dating the past twelve (12) months.
  • Ability to perform pick-up and delivery services between designated facilities.
  • Knowledge of metro area streets and highway systems.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics.
