Description:
Job Summary:

Coordinates onboarding of new hires and employee transfers.  Participates in all aspects of the recruitment process; including job postings, sourcing of qualified candidates, interviews, manager consultations, and offer process.


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of recruitment, employment, HRSC, compensation, benefits, pay administration, and other related organizational policies, practices, procedures, and/or regulations. Serves as point of contact for provision of consultative service to hiring authorities. Assists in implementing policies and procedures.

  • Serves as resource for recruitment policies, procedures, and practices to supervisors, HR staff, and others. Refers to recruiters and other staff as appropriate.

  • Reviews and processes internal & external employment posting requests; examine and evaluate applicant qualifications relevant to posted requirements; accept/reject requests based on verified qualifications.

  • Conducts phone interviews to screen and pre-qualify applicants for appropriate vacancy according to terms of SLA.

  • Examines and evaluates information on employment application/resume to determine meeting eligibility requirements for position vacancy.

  • Refers qualified applicant for particular job opening and checks references upon request from recruitment team.

  • Refers candidate to outside agency for background check; receives background check information, and provides to Recruiter and to hiring manager.

  • Ensure all jobs are posted accurately and in accordance with personnel policies.

  • Captures information concerning candidates who have been interview and will/will not be moving forward in the process.

  • Provide support to Recruiters in order to manage recruiting and other programs such as College and vocational recruiting, traditional and non-traditional recruiting.

  • Is responsible for assisting Recruiters with meeting recruitment metrics as defined by recruitment manager and department.

  • Responds to and follow-up to telephone inquiries from applicants supervisors and managers regarding employee demographics, job vacancies, policies and procedures.

  • Participates in job fairs and open houses, as needed.

  • Provides input and disposition of requisitions.

  • Coordinates the new hire process to ensure a seamless transition to New Employee orientation.

  • Implements the sourcing strategy as developed by the recruiter.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience


  • Minimum two (2) years of administrative support experience in recruitment or other HR related area.

  • Minimum one (1) year candidate sourcing or related experience.

Education

  • Associates degree in business or related field or two (2) years of directly related experience.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a Healthcare environment preferred.
  • Human resources experience to include recruitment activities preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment practices, federal and state laws preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in human resources or business preferred.
