HLife outside of work

We stand for total health.

Kaiser Permanente's integrated health care delivery system and commitment to preventive care empowers our members to maximize their total health-mind, body, and spirit. That spirit and philosophy also applies to the people working here. We believe that people do their best when there is a balance between work and personal life.

Toward that end, Kaiser Permanente sponsors a number of employee programs designed to enhance your life outside work, including fitness and health classes, seminars to enrich personal relationships, and workshops on financial planning, self-defense, and managing pregnancy in the workplace.

We also believe in the power of people to create positive change. As an employee, you're encouraged to become involved in your community. We offer time-off to volunteer and make grants to the nonprofit organizations where our employees volunteer.

Kaiser Permanente employees are enthusiastic participants in community events, such as the March of Dimes Walk America and the American Diabetes Association Walk for a Cure. They also give generously of their time, talent, and energy to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Boys & Girls Clubs, and the American Cancer Society.
