Excellent is the top rating granted by NCQA. Overall, we satisfied or surpassed the strict criteria that NCQA uses to evaluate health care in such areas as preventive measures, physician credentialing, member services, and improvements in care delivery.*
The Ohio Permanente Medical Group, which includes approximately 300 physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, provides medical care for approximately 146,000 members. We operate 11 medical facilities and are affiliated with 13 hospitals in northeast Ohio, including The Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
In 1999, we opened the Cleveland Heights Medical Center, our first new medical center in over a decade. In 2003, we opened a multidisciplinary medical office in Twinsburg, an area experiencing rapid growth in northern Summit County. Services are provided by a combination of Ohio Permanente Medical Group physicians, affiliate community primary care physicians, and visiting OPMG specialists.
