Communications combines numerous interrelated departments dedicated to advancing the Kaiser Permanente mission, promoting and protecting the Kaiser Permanente brand, and supporting the success of its strategy, including Corporate Communications, Issues and Brand Management, Public Relations, Media &Stakeholder Relations, Public Affairs, and more, internally and externally.
Consulting Services and Project/Program Management (non-IT)
Working in Health Plan Administration, Management Consulting, or Implementation, our consultants lead large, complex clinical and business initiatives that power positive organizational change from the inside out.
Education and Training
Our education and training teams dedicate their attention to the ongoing development of our many health and business professionals in support of improving the overall performance of the organization. Work includes identifying training needs, designing learning strategies, defining instructional courses, and harboring an ongoing commitment to leadership development, organizational effectiveness, instructional management, and more.
Insurance and Claims
Our insurance and claims teams are committed to meeting customer and member expectations when it comes to the timely and accurate processing of claims, while remaining in compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and rules.
Legal and Government Relations
This group encompasses all of Kaiser Permanente's legal and government counseling and provides cost-effective legal support across all functions, from acquisition of products and services, real estate transactions, and new ventures to union grievances, provider operations, and liability claims.
Materials Management
Those in our materials management group handle the administration of all activities concerned with the ordering, storage, and movement of materials.
